How do I book an appointment?
There are several ways to book an appointment here at Bellaire.

How much will my appointment cost?
Pricing depends on the service you opt for. Things such as stylist, hair length, thickness and condition can also impact pricing. We will quote you a price during consultation and offer a full break down of that price. We have also supplied a service price list
with indicative costs for reference only. Prices listed are not final.
I have been advised a different price than I calculated using your price list, why is this?
This could be for a number of reasons. You may not have priced the correct services, you may have omitted extra colour/service charges such as toning or olaplex, your appointment may be with Bronagh, which incurs an additional cost. In any event, our staff will give you a complete break down of the price you are quoted.
Why is my appointment with Bronagh more expensive than with other stylists?
Bronagh is our creative director. She oversees all of our stylists, along with their training and development. She has extensive experience and training, as such she is in extremely high demand. It is this experience and skill our clients pay for, that is why each colour service is on average £5 more expensive with Bronagh. Trust us, like all our girls, she is worth every penny. She books up quickly though, so be sure to secure as soon as you can!
Do you have any offers, promotions or discounts?
Students get 10% colour discount all year round by presenting a valid student ID card. We also run promotional pricing from time to time, social media is the best place to keep up to date with our promotions!
Why do you take deposits on your bookings?
Due to no-shows being extremely prevalent in our industry we take deposits to secure all bookings. These deposits are in place to cover staffing costs in the event of a clients failure to attend their appointment without sufficient notice. No appointments will be accepted without a despot to secure.
How do I pay my deposit?
Deposits can be paid over the phone at the time of booking, by debit or credit card, or in person using cash. If you have a gift voucher we can also take your deposit from this using the 5 digit voucher code. Certain services may be booked online using the ‘Book now’ button on our Facebook page. This page allows your deposit to be paid online by debit or credit card.
How much of a deposit am I required to pay?
All colour services carry a deposit of £20. Services £40 or less carry a deposit of £10. If booking for more than one person, a deposit is required for each; however these can be combined as one larger deposit. Online bookings typically carry a deposit between 50p-£2. However, in the event you fail to attend an appointment booked online, our online system may automatically charge up to the full value of your appointment.
Is my deposit transferable or refundable?
Yes and no. Your deposit is not refundable under any circumstance.
However, it may be transferred to another booking if you meet the criteria below:
1. You reschedule at the time of cancellation.
2. You have provided at least 24 hours notice of the change.
If booked online, with 24 hours notice you can reschedule your appointment via telephone, or using the link in your confirmation email. Cancelling with less than 24 hours notice may result in the full value of your appointment being billed to your card automatically. Staff cannot undo this process once completed.
What if I have a complaint about my appointment or something else?
We hope you don’t, but things happen. We understand that. If you are unhappy for any reason we ask that you drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
in the first instance, addressing you concerns. Someone from our management team will follow up with you within 48 hours. Alternatively, you can call the salon, but this may result in your details being taken and a call back being arranged, therefore it is best to email where possible. We welcome all forms of feedback.
What if I have a compliment about my appointment / the service / your staff?
We hope you do! You may receive a text message following your appointment asking you for a review, feel free to note your compliments here. If not, you are welcome to review us on Google, by searching for us.
How do I purchase a gift voucher?
Gift cards can be purchased for any value. You can buy them in person by popping in and speaking to any member of staff. You can also purchase gift cards over the phone via card payment; in this instance they can be collected, posted or emailed (either to you or direct to recipient). We can even send them by text with a personal message! Postage and SMS fee of £1 applies.
How long is my gift voucher valid for?
Our gift vouchers are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. Therefore, if you are purchasing as a gift, we recommend purchasing as close to the intended date of presentation as possible.
What can I redeem by gift voucher against?
You can redeem your gift voucher against any full price service in salon, be it hair or beauty! Vouchers cannot be redeemed against make-up appointments or bookings availing of promotional pricing.
What if my gift voucher expires?
Unfortunately, if a gift voucher is not redeemed within the allotted 4 month period, it becomes void. There are no exceptions to this policy, and staff do not have discretion in this.
What is your refund policy on electrical styling products?
We do not offer refund or exchange on any electrical products purchased in salon. Each product is covered by manufactures warranty, any issues or concerns must be addressed with them directly. Feel free to gives us a call for further advice in the event of an issue with a product purchased from ourselves.
What is a skin test?
A skin test is the application of a product to an area of skin (usually behind the ear or crook of the elbow) to ensure you are not allergic to it. This applies to all new clients and needs completing at least 24 hours before an appointment. If you react in anyway we will be unable to complete the service you have been tested for. Skin tests apply to all colour services, eyebrow/lash tinting and our individual false eyelash treatments.
Can I be coloured without a skin test?
In most cases, no. A skin test is paramount to your safety, as it ensures you have no sensitivities or allergies to the products we use. An allergic reaction can be a life threatening medical emergency. However, in certain circumstances where colour product is not being applied to the root/scalp, or where only bleaching products are being used a skin test may not be necessary. Our staff will advise on a case by case basis.
Why do I need a consultation?
You need a consultation with one of our stylists for many reasons, particularly if you are a new client. This gives your stylist the opportunity to understand what you are hoping to achieve, as well as review the condition of your hair to advise if it is possible. It is also the perfect opportunity for you to receive expert advice on your desired look. Typically, the consultation will be carried out at the time of skin testing. This allows us to schedule the correct amount of time for your appointment.
What if I change my mind about what I want to have done on the day of my appointment?
If you change your mind prior to arrival, we ask that you give us a call to ensure enough time has been scheduled to allow for your new ideas. If you are having a change of heart while in the chair, discuss with your stylist and they will accommodate you as best they can.
Can I go from box-dye/black to blonde/white in one sitting?
Simply put, no. You can’t. Sorry. It will take time, and many visits. But we can get you there eventually. Just know it will require many lightening and conditioning treatments over many months to achieve and retain the condition of your hair. If this is what you want, consultation is key. Pop in for a chat!
